Middleborough Seniors Kylie Gillpatrick and EJ Wanke Earn South Shore League Scholar-Athlete Honors

Middleborough High School is celebrating two of its most accomplished seniors, Kylie Gillpatrick and EJ Wanke, who have been recognized by the South Shore League as Scholar-Athlete Award winners—an honor shared with just 20 other exceptional student-athletes across the league.

Kylie and EJ exemplify what it means to succeed at the highest level both in the classroom and in competition. Ranked at the very top of their class academically, each has balanced a demanding course load with an extraordinary commitment to athletics, competing in all 12 seasons available throughout their high school careers. Their dedication and talent have also earned them South Shore League All-Star honors, distinguishing them among the best athletes in the region.

Beyond academics and sports, both students have made a lasting impact on the Middleborough High School community. As active members of Student Council and the National Honor Society, Kylie and EJ have demonstrated leadership, service, and integrity—qualities that define true scholar-athletes.

Their recognition by the South Shore League is a testament not only to their individual achievements, but also to the values of hard work, perseverance, and community involvement they embody.
